The Burren, Ireland --Gravel's best kept secret

We think
The Burren is gravel cycling’s best-kept secret. Surprisingly, even many locals haven’t yet discovered just how incredible the riding is here.
With a landscape dotted with megalithic tombs, ancient forts, and medieval castles—complemented by top-tier cafes, restaurants, and pubs *Some visit for the traditional Irish music the pubs alone. It is truly is the complete package. Just a heads-up: definitely pack a rain jacket!
Check out these stunning shots from Camille LeSaux, a regular contributor to Cyclist France magazine and Escape collective and others.

The Burren is in Co Clare which is very close to Shannon International Airport.

You are also close to the Cliffs of Moher and Aran Islands, The Wild Atlantic Way and the cities of Galway and Limerick and off course Connemara

*We will visit Connemara in the next blog
